Q. Can anyone see what I write (or speak)?
No. Only you, while signed in, can see your records.
Nothing is shared with other users, and nothing is automatically posted to social media.

Q. Does the creator (Sapphire) read my entries?
When we need to investigate a technical issue, it is technically possible to view entries. However, we never read them for enjoyment or use them as material for articles or social media. Except in unavoidable cases such as fixing bugs, we do not open them.
Q. Where are my records stored?
They are stored on a database service called Supabase, in the Tokyo region (servers within Japan).
Because they are stored on the server rather than on your device, your records remain even if you change phones — just sign in with the same account.

Q. Is my data used to train AI?
No.
Replies are generated using Anthropic Claude AI, but when used via the API, the content sent is not used to train the AI. After a certain period, it is also automatically deleted from the Anthropic logs.

No.
Your voice is converted to text on your own phone or computer. Only the converted text is sent to the server — the voice itself is never stored anywhere.

Q. Can I delete what I have written later?
Yes. From the settings screen, “Delete all records” removes all your reports, replies, and reflection letters at once. To prevent accidental taps, it requires pressing twice to confirm.

How to Use
Q. I am not good at speaking aloud.
You can type instead. Use whichever you feel like that day.
Q. Is it okay if I am not a good speaker?
Absolutely. Even with “um” and “uh,” or if your story jumps around, Blue Sapphire will understand the context and reply.
Your words are kept just as you spoke them — and that is fine. Speaking without tidying up leaves your honest feelings of the day.

Q. How long should I speak?
There are no rules. A single word or a long story are both fine (up to 500 characters). Each report you send lights one star in your night sky.
Q. Do I have to write every day?
No. This app was made so it is okay to have days you skip. Even if there are days you cannot write, the stars already lit will not go out.
Q. When does a constellation form?
Once you have two reports, stars begin to connect with lines. The more you write, the more lines appear, slowly forming a constellation that is uniquely yours.

Q. What do the weekly / monthly summaries do?
Blue Sapphire looks back over what you spoke during that period and delivers a letter — “You talked about this a lot this week,” and so on.

Q. How many times a day can I report?
In the beta, replies are limited to 10 per day and reflection letters to 3 per day. (This is the most we can offer right now to respond to everyone.)

Yes. It opens in a browser, so you can use it on both phone and computer. No installation from an app store is needed.

Some browsers do not support voice input. In that case the app will let you know, so please use keyboard input.

Q. Is it free?
Yes. It is currently available for free as a beta version.
Q. Will it not be released on app stores?
Releasing it as a formal app involves upfront costs, which would end up being passed on to the people who use it. So for now, we are offering it as a web-based beta.
Q. In the beta, could my records be lost?
Because it is a beta, data migration or resets may occur alongside specification changes. For important records, we recommend keeping a copy on hand just in case.
Q. Do I need to log in?
Yes. To keep your night sky yours alone, we ask you to register an account.
Registration is completed with just an email address — there is no password. Enter your email and an invitation (a login link) arrives from the manor; simply open it to enter.

Q. Sometimes a reply did not arrive.
If communication with the AI temporarily fails, you may receive a note from the young lady: “Tonight a thin cloud covers the moon…”
Even then, your report itself is safely saved. Press “Deliver the reply again” to receive your reply anew.
